Mountain Valley Spring Water is America’s original premium water brand. The company had an ambition to grow beyond a traditional home delivery service and establish itself as a strong competitor in the retail space. But how do you compete in a category crowded with brands and premium imports?

Create160 uncovered an untapped market of people who not only appreciated the company’s legacy but who felt connected to the brand’s values: Authenticity, Preservation & Freedom. 

 

Through a grassroots marketing approach, we engaged with these “authenticity seekers” at restaurants, food festivals and concerts all across America. Soon enough, chefs, artists and musicians became brand ambassadors, telling their friends, customers and Instagram followers all about their favorite water brand.

 

Our mission was to bring the natural American goodness of Mountain Valley to the nation. We built brand equity through social media, influencer and event marketing, sponsorships, a new website, and a series of other innovative marketing efforts such as a branded culinary ambassador program. Not only did we help introduce new customers to the brand, we made loyalists feel even more connected to the same clean, crisp water they know and love.
